MSc course's project - Integrated Design Project

This Project focuses on issues concerning sustainable development, social aspects of design for sustainability, renewable energy options and a recognition of how the built form must be considered in a sustainable context. ---

The building is an inspiration from computational design. It is the combination of 9 square boxes creating a building shape that blends in with the natural form of the hill. It is the beacon of the site. Powered by the plantations down the slope, it can be seen across the valley and will be a visual anchor point for the site. The main glazing of the building faces South to get natural sunlight (lower energy usage) and to maintain heat gain. ---

Ecological architecture is not only green add-on, it is also about creating the good relationship between human, using space and nature. Hence, the spacial garden is designed for this purpose. ---
