I-Companion (Interface Companion) - Rhybeat is an I-Companion that I designed for 7-12 years old kids. It is an innovative music toy for children to express their passion for music without having any musical knowledge background. Red-eye tree frog is the metaphor for this design. Throughout the design process, Rhybeat is born with a squishy interface which allowed kids to hold and press to produce different kind of percussion instruments sounds accompanied by selected rhythms as a background music.
