Assistant Product Designer (August 2006 - Nov 21, 2008)
Assisted in the design and development of Department 56 seasonal giftware with focus on trim, decor, and tabletop product categories. Collaborated with design team in the creation and execution of product concepts, original surface design, final digital art and production specs. Researched trends and assisted in the development of seasonal trend presentations. Other responsibilities included providing graphic design and production assistance to external designers and preparing overseas trip collateral.

Assisted Senior Product Designer in a variety of design projects and related tasks.
Created computer production of digital art and prepared final specs for vendor transfer of art.
Supported the design team in creative and project development.

Created seasonal graphics for 15 retail websites while managing collection and correction of all website photography. Redesigned company logo and branding after developing an environmental impact mission statement presentation and trend research.
