My name's Brian and firstly I'd like to thank you for stopping by.
You're already here to see the imagery (which I hope you enjoyed), so I thought that I'd tell you that aside from the Photography and Films that I work on, if you ever find yourself in London you might just see me bouncing off a wall, or sliding under a rail as I'm also a dedicated Parkour Practitioner. In fact I'm one of the inaugural members of the world's largest and most experienced Parkour teaching groups, Parkour Generations.
If you're curious as to what exactly all that means, then feel free to check us out over at http://www.ParkourGenerations.com/
...but if that's not your cup of tea then you can see more of my images, videos and strange London tales on my website at http://www.BrokenJumps.com/
Now, you may be curious as to why I chose the name "Broken Jumps"?
Well, to "break a jump" is a phrase that I borrowed from my lovely world of Parkour, and it applies to a time when you do something that you've never done before... its usually something very challenging and very personal, and even though it usually something to do with training, it can apply equally to anything overcoming anything difficult in your life.
When I started Photography, it was definitely an outlet that helped smooth over some of the rougher edges that life would send my way, so Broken Jumps seemed to be a natural fit!
Enjoy your stay and see you soon.
Brian.
