With a proven artistic background, my experience ranges from N.Y.C. as an Illustrator and Storyboard artist with major entertainment companies to 3D Animation. As an employee from 1996 through 2012 at DreamWorks Animation, I have been a Digital Artist and Surfacer, 3D Animator, Lighting, Compositor and a Surfacing Visual Development Artist.

I thrive in a learning environment where technology and creative work processes are constantly changing. Currently enrolled at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, I am updating my skills with the newest of the compositing software, NUKE, in my course, “The Art of Compositing”. The ability to maintain personal growth within a constantly evolving Entertainment Arts field provides the opportunity to share my experience and expertise with others, which has always been my passion.

Many years working in the animation and advertising fields in the industry have given me more than what an MFA would have accomplished through a university. These years of experience are what would be considered the equivalency of an MFA in animation, illustration and digital art. My future plans are to pursue opportunities to further my education with an MFA in another field that would enhance my diverse background and satisfy my quest for learning. I am well qualified and eager to join your institution.
