Tasks and responsibilities include:
-Handling Company advertising and marketing (brochures, banners, in-store displays, signage)
-Creating official customizations for soccer jerseys and other apparel using specific SportingID measurements and guidelines. Must constantly stay up to date with newest releases of apparel for professional teams across the world.
-Design logos, patches, and team jerseys for private sporting clubs and schools across New York. (Ex. Martin Luther King HS, Beacon HS, Manhattan Soccer Club, Fusion Soccer Club). We also have partnerships with the NY Red Bulls and NY Cosmos professional teams in which we supply and customize their official gear. Upper 90 Soccer also has two retail store locations, one in Manhattan and the other in Brooklyn. I am responsible for any Jersey replications/ customization orders for both stores.
-Constantly work with customers/clients updating design information and changes as well as helping them make decisions that could potentially save them money. (ex. Cheaper materials without lack of quality, bundle orders at a discounted price)
-Maintain relationships with outsourcing businesses (ex. Printers, Embroiders)
-Must maintain a very strict quality control value for clients (ex. Spell checking, sizing, materials)
-Must maintain all hardware, software, and machinery. This includes keeping our Mac computers up to date with the latest Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) We have a vinyl material cutting machine and a heat press for many small orders that I must make sure is working properly at all times.
-Provide a monthly inventory list of needed materials for the owner to order.
-Stay up to date with design trends and marketing methods.
