Phil graduated with a BA degree in Architecture from the University of Liverpool in 1987, completed the diploma in Architecture at the University of North London in 1990 and the Post Graduate diploma in Profession Practice in 2003. He is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and an allied member of the Society of Architectural Illustration.
