2005 Wedding gown and brides maid dresses, summer wedding in Hawaii

It was a fruitful process working with the bride and two brides maids, producing the three dresses. The wedding gown was 100% silk charmeuse, lined with 100% silk habotai. Silk is very challenging and time consuming to work with but when done correct it is the most beautiful fabric to see transform 2D into 3D. The design was backless and attached with spaghetti straps tipped with swaraskivi crystals. The train was just long enough to drag and the bustle made dancing care free for the bride. The brides maid dresses were two layers of fabrics. The top layer was silk single organza. The under layer was pink silk haboti matching the waist bands that were built into bows on the front for classic appeal. The hems were separate so the layers floated over each other and were very graceful when they were walking. The V-necks tied into the back of the brides gown...the focal point of the design.
