Resume

I am a young industrial designer, involved in the field of design for environmental, social and economical sustainability.

I'm born in April 1985; I went to the artistic high school, where I showed interest in sculpture, craft and design.

I graduated at Politecnico di Milano in Industrial Design, year 2009. Two important experiences for me were the stage in Michele De Lucchi’s studio, and the Erasmus exchange at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany.

During the last university year, I worked in the research department “Design and System Innovation for Sustainability”, under the supervision of Professor Carlo Vezzoli, where I learned how to apply the criteria of environmental, social and economical sustainability in the design process.

My final university project was about the topic of the needs of energy saving, especially in the field of lighting devices. I focused my research on the office working spaces, with the collaboration of lighting and daylighting design: Disano, Parans, Solatube, and the Lighting research team of the faculty of Design of Politecnico di Milano. The final result is an innovative product-service system.

I actually collaborate as a researcher for the Núcleo de Design e Sustentabilidade, Universidade Federal do Paraná (with focus on sustainable development of products and service for low-income people), and the Laboratory of Sustainable Design, INDACO Department, Politecnico di Milano (with focus on Life Cycle Assessment of products and redesign).

I speak in English and Portuguese, and I have basic knowledges of Spanish and German.
