Dale Mallie developed Archetype Inc.19 years ago as an architect's and designer's work room, a place where materials and production methods could be prototyped and then developed into a final finish. The history of Archetype has been rich with innovations and lasting results, many of which have become industry standards. ALL WORK IS REAL AND INSTALLED UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. Samples of his stone design are currently on the_ PATTERN MAKING _ page of the web site: www.archcarving.com
Currently in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Archetype Inc. was developed by Dale and Joan Mallie 19 years ago. The concept of our company was to create an architect's workroom, a studio to which architects and designers could visit, thus embellishing their ideas and furthering them to a finer finish. Archetype designs in wood, metal and concentrates its product line around either natural stone or cast stone. Our clients either provide Dale with finished drawings or rely on Dale's 43 years of experience to provide finished designs, prototypes and production, usually the latter. Our designs can be used for interior or exterior (freeze thaw is not a problem) and for residential or commercial applications. In some cases, Dale has been asked to totally design the exterior of a residence even though architects are involved. To say the least, this profession is a passion.
