As an architectural designer I was charged to: - Create code sheets based off the building code standards of whichever state we are working in. - Draw complete plans of stores including lighting, fixture, demolition, ceiling, and construction plans. - Create entire design and construction documents for retail stores that include elevations and details. - Coordinate between engineers, store designers, mall officials, architects, and building officials. - Clients include: Victoria’s Secret, Victoria’s Secret PINK, Starbucks, Levi’s, Aaron’s, Bath & Body Works, and Michael’s. - As IDP coordinator I was charged with guiding any staff seeking their license through the liscenship process Canstruction - Structural Designer (September 2012-June 2014) - Canstruction is a non-profit organization that holds annual competitions where teams design and build structures out of food cans. After the competitions the structures are put up for public display and are later dismantled and sent to local food banks. As an in-house designer I design can structures as well as instructions for how the structures are to be built. This way Canstruction can provide ideas to groups who are interested in participating in any Canstruction events. Rural Initiative Project Inc - Administrative and Project Lead (June 2010-July 2011).- Rural Initiative Project Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and restore historic buildings throughout the Southeast United States.
