This boot has been an exercise in diligent product evolution. Originally a Fox product, the Combat has been continually improved and updated to increase performance and keep up with Shift’s brand image while maintaining a competitive price. The current incarnation of the boot shares only it's sole and medial plastics with the original. The shin plate, calf plate, buckles, burn guard, and Velcro closure have been replaced and a rubber gaiter has been added.
