  • MOD Clients & Projects

    • Solar Thermal
    • 2008 - 2013 (5 years)

For the last 5 years I have been developing a residential scale solar focusing combined heat and power system that utilizes sunlight to make steam, electricity, hot water, house hold heating and cooling (for AC and refrigeration) at far higher efficiencies than photovoltaic panels. In 2012 I was awarded 8th place in NASA Tech Briefs Create the Future Design Competition. A project brief can be seen here: http://contest.techbriefs.com/2012/entries/sustainable-technologies/2744-solar-boiler-electrical-generator-and-heat-machine

Aquaponics: For the last 3 years we have been working on an aquaponics system that makes it possible to farm in urban and sub-urban areas and produce more food per acre than is possible through traditional mono-cultural agriculture systems without using petroleum based fertilizers or GMOs. MOD Design: Operated a residential stone fabrication business in Knoxville. We focused on projects that other stone companies were unable to do due to lack of design/engineering or talent
