Provided comprehensive marketing and advertising materials for various clients, including Cabela’s, Segway of Northern Colorado, Town of Estes Park, Sherwood Archery, WildTV, Estes Park Medical Center and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
Retained (2001-2003), and freelanced for, Cabela's (1999 - 2007) to develop branding strategies for new advertising campaign, championing concepts to senior level staff thereby contributing to successful "Just Being There" national ad campaign resulting in double-digit revenue growth. Credited for "raising the bar" and taking the company to the next level.
Directed the concept, development and design, of a multi-media marketing campaign for the Estes Park Brewery. Designed labels and integrated advertising and branding concepts throughout retail store, POS, restaurant, beverage carriers, T-shirts and multi-media promotional campaigns, which directly increased revenues by over 36%.
Directed the concept, design, and development of a multi-media start-up marketing campaign for Segway of Northern Colorado. Integrated Website, store design, and promotional campaigns, thereby helping increase their dealer network by 21%, and sales growth by over 50% since 2002.
Brought on board to creatively manage twelve graphic designers, in three countries, and to assist in the creation of arts for a variety of embroidery purposes. My mentoring of the design staff, combined with the implementation of unique design ideas and quickly-designed arts helped increase revenues by 12% per year, over a three year period, resulting in production of 77 million + emblems per year, and a $17 million dollar per year company. Customers included Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts, U. S. Military, Department of Homeland Security, TIOH and VF just to name a few.
Hired in 2008 by Master Copywriter/Marketer Clayton Makepeace to restructure and implement all in-house and client-based direct response graphics support systems including re-branding of The Total Package marketing products. Responsible for creating smooth, concise workflow throughout, which was organized to fit the marketing needs of our financial and health industry clients including Weiss Group, Inc. and 1-800-HEALTHY. Direct results were measured in the tens of millions of dollars.
Responsible for interacting, educating and selling consumers on the importance of sponsorship for a NASCAR Sprint Cup race team. Our goal was to secure the soon-to-be-available Anheuser-Busch sponsorship opportunity. Worked in conjunction with P&G, Kingsford, Bush's Baked Beans, Jeld-Wen Windows, Au Vineyards, Zaxby's, Little Debbie and KC Masterpiece to help secure sponsorship funds exceeding $25M.
• Managed production team in workflow and execution of multiple advertising pieces per week, consistently meeting publication advertising deadlines. Provided new and creative solutions to publication advertising concept/design which generated increased ad-based sales figures in an extremely competitive market.
• Instrumental in helping increase profit margins for North America's largest direct marketer, and leading specialty retailer, by personally designing five private label camo clothing designs, thereby creating new catalog/retail price points which reduced company expenditures and contributed to 2005 overall revenues of $1.8 Billion.
• Retained to lead external creative resources in the design and development of the Cabela’s CLUB RewardsTM program for outdoor retailer, thereby streamlining operations within tight schedules to meet multiple magazine and promotional deadlines. Cabela's reported a 39% rise in 2007, Q2 Net Profit.
