Education University Loughborough University (2005 - 2009) Industrial Design and Technology BA First class (Hons) + DPS A-Levels The West Bridgford School (2001 - 2003) Design and Technology: B Physics: B Mathematics: B Work Experience Jason Bruges Studio Industrial Designer (January 2010 - Present) JBS produce ground breaking innovative installations, involving interactive lighting. I have worked to release their first product, the Flatliner lamp, for Established and Sons. As a batch run product I have had to work closely with manufactures to manage the project. Innovate Design Freelance Designer (December 2009) Creating Realistic production CAD and presentation renders for fast paced, short projects. EG Technology University placement year (March - July 2008) EG Technology is growing into one of the UK’s leading product design and engineering consultancies. I was working with a small and highly experienced design team where I worked on consumer and medical products from initial concept to production. Working on live projects gave me a great opportunity to learn SolidWorks, design for manufacture and presenting to clients. Richardson-Sheffield, Now Amefa UK University placement year (June 2007 - March 2008) Richardson-Sheffield are a large manufacture of knives and cutlery . I worked with their in-house design team to produce new concepts and a refresh existing lines. This also involved model making and presented new products to clients such as Next, ASDA and House of Fraser. Breaks Summer Scheme University summer holidays (2005, 2006, and 2008) Breaks is a council funded residential summer camp for disabled children between the ages of 9 to 18. It is designed to give the children and families a week of freedom which makes it extremely rewarding to work on.
