Work History

  • Designer

    I combine data and insights collected from multiple research formats to create designs for consumer products. Hand sketches, computer aided design, observation, primary & secondary research, and prototyping are all utilized to realize product solutions. Designs typically undergo several steps of consumer testing for validation.

  • Divemaster and Dive Instructor

    PADI SCUBA courses and private guiding on the Great Barrier Reef. Assembled and tested up to 30 sets of scuba equipment per day, guided dives and conducted introductory dives, acted as deck hand and snorkel guide. Assisted & conducted PADI SCBUA courses and privately guided dive trips. Operated high pressure fill equipment and practiced routine maintenance on: fins, masks, snorkels, BCDs and computers. Auxiliary roles included the application of first aid and oxygen, rescue, marine life education and identification training.

  • Designer

    Product designer. My role encompassed the production of concept sketches through Solidworks models. This position began as an internship and became full-time after graduation.
