Engine pack Mack is a character design in which I had and idea of a Boy Scout in a post apocalyptic world. Mack is on a rescue mission to deliver A Premature Baby to a medical facility in California unfortunately he and the baby are ironically in New Jersey trying to make their way across the county fighting off bandits, escaping Mutant hordes, and scavenging for food.
When illustrating this piece, I Did my best to have fun with a wild idea. In a post apocalyptic world almost every surface area where people lived would be riddled with trash. When doing the background and foreground I wanted to express the overwhelming feeling of trash and pollution that would accumulate over time after an apocalyptic event.
