About

As an artist-designer, the philosophical separation between art and design--fiercely maintained by staunch proponents on either side of the professional divide--creates a thought-provoking dialectical exchange of ideas. I find myself challenged to create effective solutions while simultaneously examining the cultural constructs that both limit and enable the social function of objects. Artists test, designers temper: I nourish both identities that I may remain curious in my pursuit of resolution.
