Public Space Furniture - The brief: design furnitures to promote interactions amongst students.
Inspired by the perennial swing:
1) The seat is magnified to create a communal space.
2) Accommodate various resting positions - the seat is designed with 90° backrest and 145° back rest at the other end; with gradual changes in seating angle in between to suit different resting postures.
3) The cover is a sound dome - allowing students to share their music.
