I've been a professional industrial designer for 12 years. I develop products for clients with a focus on personal interaction, style, and innovation. My products, packaging, and displays have been sold in, Wal Mart, Toys R Us, Ulta, Sally Beauty, Paul Mitchell, Regis Salons, Sharper Image, and Bed Bath & Beyond, to name a few. I’ve worked on many demanding projects and have responded in real time to budgetary and time constraints while executing a successful result. I’m highly experienced working with factories overseas, as well as domestically from project start, through delivery. I enjoy collaboration and assisting small business to use the design process to leverage their existing I.P., products, and services to generate more revenue in exciting and sustainable ways. I am very experienced with the patent process, have researched, written, and edited patents for internal and consulting clients, as well as having been granted patents of my own. I’m very high energy, can can occasionally be found piloting race cars.

Industrial design/product design, comprises everything from cars, to hair dryers, packaging, to trade show booth design, and point of purchase displays. I was lucky enough to learn from some of the best.

Other specialized skills attained: patent research, mechanism and materials research, project management, and marketing analysis, in addition to industrial design skills

Mechanical Engineering program 2 years, transferred to pursue Industrial Design at California State University-Long Beach

Affiliations:

Archery team 1998 CSULB 1993-1995, Montana State University Solar Car Team (driver, fund raiser, solar array design and fabrication, composite body lay-up). The team competed in SunRayce 1995 finished 23rd. Video coordinator for Montana State Football Team 1993
