.........>>>Work Experience *******May 2008 - ongoing Footwear Designer CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA Designing each season in teamwork with the owner of the company. Being responsible for all spec sheets, drawings in Illustrator, put together in Indesign. Working closely with fashion designers such as Krystof Strozyna and Temperley on shoe collaborations for their catwalk shows. Sourcing materials from Lineapelle and Premier Vision. Travelling to Italy on a regular basis to oversee the development of the samples. *******August 2006 - May 2008 Footwear and Accessories Designer Neesh From the start I was designing ranges of footwear with matching bags and accessories. Being involved in each stage of development from initial idea to production I am responsible for identifying key trends to suit the target customer, sourcing materials and trims and dealing with factories abroad. My other responsibilities include range building, market research, design and production of the seasonal look books. *******April 2006 - May 2006 Footwear Designer (placement) - »TN29«, London Being member of Tracey Neuls‘ team gave me insight into Adobe Illustrator, production, material sourcing and retail. *******February 2002 - April 2002 Industrial Designer (placement) - »Wilder Eber«, Germany Illustrated and built models, graphics with Macromedia Freehand and Adobe Photoshop. Mastered the design process from sketch through to the finished product. .........>>>Education *******October 2003 - June 2006 BA Honours Footwear - 1st Class Honours De Montfort University, Leicester In the three year course at De Montfort I collaborated with global brands such as Etnies and George Cox and participated in renowned competitions including Draper‘s Footwear Awards and the Lineapelle Young designer‘s contest. Modules included: Advanced pattern cutting, Illustration techniques, CAD design and Trend Prediction. *******October 1999 - January 2006 Masters Diploma Industrial Design - 1st Class Hon. with distinction Hochschule für Kunst und Design, Halle, Germany The five-year course included complex projects: Call centre interior and equipment, coffins made of biodegradable material and »Shoes made to measure« with Steffen Kroll from Studio Vertijet.
