I design innovative and iconic products that through consumer insights have worked to transform the perception of Golf from a game to a sport. Through my work at adidas Golf, the acceptable uniform for footwear has evolved to reflect the performance requirements and aesthetic of athletes.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Sr. Footwear Designer, 2009 - Present TaylorMade-adidas Golf, Carlsbad, CA Duties: • Strategic planning and conceptualization of iconic products as part of a three-year design plan to deliver engaging products at all price points. Focusing on innovative technologies and constructions, informed by consumer profiles, research, and market trends, with integration into current and future range framework. • Developing and Implementing key technology stories that demonstrate strong and consistent brand identity across consumer taste preference and price point. • Collaborating with the Creative Director to establish an integrated approach to the adidas Golf global design direction across footwear, apparel, and accessories ranges. • Developing and proving innovative future concepts through close collaboration with product management and product development. • Facilitating the footwear design team to the creative and efficient execution of their assignments, and providing the context for successful integration of their work into the overall brand look and feel. • Managing two direct reports and outside consultants as needed for the realization of brand growth, maintaining timelines and product integrity. (adipower boost, tour360, powerband) • Collaborating with outside consultants to develop and verify and new technology and integrating their work into brand driving product (first fully asymmetrical golf shoe, BOA) • Driving brand growth through design and iconic visual language, from statement product throughout the product range. (adipower boost and power family) • Special Edition Program: designing unconventional products that engage consumers from a brand level at key times in golf. The compelling story telling built internal and external buzz and created enter departmental teams to collaborate, challenges the status quo by through new sell-in strategies, and helped develop new revenue channels by reaching new consumers through social media. (Master’s, camo, and tartan packs) Footwear Designer, 2006-2009 TaylorMade-adidas Golf, Carlsbad, CA Duties: • Collaborated with Senior Designer in conceptualizing and designing statement product. • Designs for the global range of adidas Golf footwear products consistent with brand strategy and met specific performance, pricing, and aesthetic goals. Contributions: • Design of the first truly athletic golf shoe; creating a new category. (powerband sport) • Thintech cleat: concept and design, developed with Pride Sports (now industry standard and 30% thinner) first new attachment system since Softspikes, Footwear Design Intern, 2005-2006 TaylorMade-adidas Golf, Carlsbad, CA Duties: • Generated and refined concepts • Produced final product renderings • Created tech packs Contributions: • Introduced new product visualization techniques through Photoshop and Wacom Cinitq.
