Proven success in guiding complex, large budget projects from concept through to final presentations and industrial design deliverables. Ability to oversee design and styling projects from concept through technical design and surfacing production. Collaboration with engineering on industrialization in order to maintain design intent. Directed and implemented design language, for identity and differentiation of product and brand DNA. Brand differentiation is a key component of the successful merger between Case IH and New Holland. Hold multiple patents related to these projects. Caterpillar Corporation: Various concepts, exterior and interior components across the construction and agricultural equipment product line. Developed brand strategy concepts for the core product line related to corporate form language for the timeframes +10 years and +20 years. This strategy is in implementation across the global product line. Foton LOVOL Heavy Industries: China’s leading equipment manufacturer. Re-design of medium and small tractor line, exteriors and interiors. Develop brand DNA through definition of product form language with the goal of increasing design quality to be competitive in the global market against western manufacturers. Samsung Electronics: Functional and styling concepts for interior features of consumer refrigerators. Baxter Healthcare: Function and styling concepts for hand held medicine delivery devices used in laparoscopic surgery. Precision Planting: Concept development, surface development and design visualization for new and innovative agricultural planting equipment. ROM Inclinometer: Designed and developed new product used in measuring human range of motion in patients undergoing various forms of physical therapy. Source manufacturing, design and source packaging. Establish e-commerce functions. Carry out ongoing order fulfillment, inventory management and shipping. Cougar Industries Inc – Blue Level: Design product concepts for new business group and product launch for devices used in measurement of stored bulk materials. Amana Refrigeration: Design of various trend setting concepts, CAD data, graphics and physical models across the product line. Hold multiple patents related to these projects. Rockwell-Collins Division of Avionics: Developed concepts and CAD data for 2 generations of handheld GPS units for Special Forces use. This resulted in the winning of a multi-million dollar competitive bid and open-ended contract for Rockwell to supply units to the Department of Defense. Over 200,000 units delivered worldwide to date. Developed concepts and data for vehicle mounted GPS units for military use. TeeJet Technologies: Concepts, 3D surfacing and rendering to establish product identity of virtual terminal product line used in agricultural applications. Concept and develop graphical user interface for virtual terminal software. Develop ISO based graphical icons and all digital graphic content for use in software application. Yanmar: Developed manufacturing quality, 3D body surfacing of tractor hood for manufacturing. Emphasis on implementing complex and costly, multi- piece hood DNA as a reduced cost, one-piece RIM molded part. Fast Heat Inc: Develop new design for core product hot runner controller used in precision plastic injection molding. Matthews Specialty Vehicles: Managing and modeling role in complex 3D body surface development for fiberglass front cap used in specialty command center vehicles. Damon Motorhomes: Develop 3D surface data for fiberglass end caps and graphics on various motor home models. Speaker Corporation: Concepts and surface data for line of freestanding and built-in commercial vehicle lighting products with a distinctive oval shape that has since been widely copied and adopted. Ingersoll-Rand: Interior concepts for operator cab of blast hole drill used in mining and blasting operations. McCormick Tractors: Concepts, 3D surface data and renderings for new exterior agricultural tractor identity and styling.
