September 2002-June 2003: Edinburgh’s Telford College, Scotland.
Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design with units including: graphic and typographic design, computer aided design, Multimedia applications and managing print.

Two of my projects – a direct mail sponsored by Royal Mail to provide information and advice on avoiding sexually transmitted infections and a press campaign sponsored by Virgin Atlantic to launch two new routes to the Caribbean – were selected for the D&AD Student Competition 2003

Final project based on re-branding a Barnardo’s Befriending Project’s image. I created a new logo, branded the stationery and designed a series of posters and postcards.

Postgraduate Diploma in Multimedia Technology: Interactive projects based on Flash, Director and Dreamweaver.

BA(Hons) in Communication and Information Studies (Class 2.1), with options in Public Relations, Multimedia, Film Studies and Direct Marketing with Group projects involving focus groups, data analysis and public presentations.

June-September 2003: DTP operator for Hobsons Student Pages, a student directory covering the whole of the UK. The job covered the design and layout of advertisements in Photoshop and PageMaker. Duties included the creation of new artwork, liaison with clients and flatplan production.

June-September 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002: Edinburgh International Film Festival, Filmhouse, Edinburgh, Scotland. Publicity assistant and designer of new publicity material including posters and banners.
