About

Jeannie Wu is inspired by people and everyday life. She believes in challenging design and seeking alternatives that deviate from the norm. Through design, she is painting in space and crafting an emotional, physical, and mental experience.

Born in San Francisco, California and raised as a Burmese, Chinese, and American women, she received her first Bachelors in Studio Art with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing from California State University, Long Beach, CA (2008). She then moved to New York to earn a second Bachelors in Industrial Design at Pratt Institute in NY (2012).

Jeannie is interested in humanitarian and ergonomic design. Her recent explorations deal with the interplay of fashionable ergonomic objects in aiding people towards a healthier lifestyle.
