I am a apparel designer and product developer I have a certificate in fashion design and experience in all aspects of apparel development, including design, pattern making, construction & alterations, tech pack development, sourcing, communication and with both domestic and overseas manufacturers, and creating marketing materials such as prints, hang-tags, labels and shopping bags. Having worked for design start-ups and small businesses throughout my career I'm familiar with the self-motivation, entrepreneurial spirit, communication and dedication required to bring success to every project I work on and company I work with. • Developing apparel collections for mens and womens markets
• Proposing colour stories and trends
• Creating marketing materials such as prints, hangtags, labels and shopping bags
• Patternmaking and sample sewing
• Developing tech packs & product specifications
• Sourcing fabrics and trims for domestic and over seas production
-Responsible for managing and prioritizing completion of all day-to-day production, overseas communication and design activities for Lionheart Sports.
-Producing design sheets and final proofs for custom cut and sew and sublimated sports lines including but not limited to: rugby, soccer, basketball, team apparel, etc.
-Generation of detailed garment tech packs for 2015/2016 apparel line for University Bookstores.
-Responsible for research, development, and production of new styles and products and improving fit and construction on current styles.
-Liaise with overseas manufacturers for sourcing of new products, fabrics, and trims.
-Conceptualization and curation the Lionheart ‘Heritage Line’.
Develop seasonal marketing material for sales promotions and social media.
-Responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality assurance as well as delivering products to clients within deadlines.
-Manage accounts receivable.
Successfully completely 1 year intensive program while maintaining 90% grade average in the following courses Fashion History, Textiles Science, Fashion Awareness & Elements, Pattern Drafting, Garment Construction, Art & Technology, Fashion Illustration, Fashion Design, Portfolio Design, Draping, Business & Entrepreneurship and Fashion Marketing & Promotions
