I was employed as a school picture day photographer and working in a team environment, took professional quality portraits of school children. Being able to think quick on your feet, as well as handling many tasks at a time under strict time constraints was a large part of this job. Clear communication with students, faculty, staff, and parent helpers was key. Handling money and making correct change when needed was crucial . It was my responsibility for the transportation and care of camera equipment.

I worked along side a team of sales representatives an fellow designers to produce professional and innovative print and online newspaper advertisements on a daily basis. It was my responsibility to prepare my files for our in-house pre-press department, as well as any files going out to other print companies. My Creative Director decided to make me the head of in-house design projects (pamphlets, booklets, trifolds, etc.) due to my ability to produce professional work in a fast turn around time line.

ADJUNCT PROFESSOR/EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHY

Worked for a semester at my Alma Mater as an adjunct professor teaching students the basics and techniques of Equine Photography. Overview of the course was to teach basic camera settings that would be used when photographing horses, and then taking those photos into Adobe Photoshop for photo editing purposes.

Photographed along side with business owner/photographer during the Spring-Fall to various horse shows around New York. I have photographed just about all riding disciplines (from hunter/jumper, various western disciplines, saddle seat, and driving in harness), and photographed quite a few breed shows. Lately I have been concentrating my efforts in the dressage world, learning about the various maneuvers and timing to get that perfect shot.
