Kari Burks Interior Design assists homeowners in creating spaces they can't wait to get home to. We make the renovation process easier by helping our clients define a clear vision for their dream space and serving as an ally to carry it out, down to the last detail. Our design services include: programming, space planning, development of design concepts, construction documents, fixture, finish & furniture selection, including custom cabinetry design and project administration.

Upon graduation in 2003, I was hired at a commercial design firm where I had been interning. I worked there for almost three years, learning the "ins and outs" of the design process. I was responsible for managing a number of jobs - from initial space planning and design concepts through completion.
When I began receiving offers for residential contract work, I started moonlighting. I found the residential projects allowed a more personal connection with the client, which I loved. In January 2006, I began my own design studio and haven't looked back since.
In my spare time I enjoy organic gardening, reading, creating "green" do-it-yourself projects and blogging.
