Hi, I'm Kevin Spencer and I'm an Industrial Designer living in Toronto with over 5 years of professional experience in a wide range of product categories.
In 2012, I completed my Bachelor of Industrial Design from Carleton University in Ottawa. While studying, I went abroad to Melbourne where I studied automotive design, glass production, and interface design at Monash University.
Let me rattle off some of my accomplishments. I most recently worked in San Francisco for Photojojo, an online store for photography accessories. There I led the product line development for IRIS, a photographic lens system for camera phones, and brought it to life . From envisioning and developing the basic product outline, to directing the product design and engineering team, to leading a manufacturing team in China, I made IRIS a reality.
Previous to this I worked for Canada Post, where I re-imagined mail delivery. Other work includes collaboration with a marketer and engineer to design a new Transport Wheelchair, and brainstorming at Umbra with senior designers to bring new products to market.
