ELG (Tech Lighting, LBL Lighting) - Product Designer (2007 - Present)

* Product designer in charge of conceptualizing new and unique lighting fixtures based on imported italian glass as well as exploring new materials and processes.

* Collaborate with engineering team to design, prototype, and produce new concepts.

* Work with design team to create 3D computer models, renderings, and concepts for interiors of

Bretford, Inc. – Product Designer (2004 - 2007)

* Lead product designer handling a variety of high profile product and furniture projects for clients such as Apple, Inc. Involved in every aspect of the conceptual process from the initial research, sketches, renderings, presentations, modeling and prototyping, up until engineering

* Design engineer in charge of turning a concept into a fully engineered reality. Problem solving of engineering issues, sourcing materials and hardware, working with vendor engineers, and testing prototypes for industry certifications such as UL, BIFMA, etc.

* SolidWorks draftsman responsible for producing complete 3D Cad models of a product as well as individual engineering drawings for production. Producing intelligent SolidWorks models capable of dynamic changes; involved in the training of the engineering department in the use of Solidworks

* Project manager responsible for leading a team of designers, engineers, model makers, and manufacturing engineers from a concept sketch up to production

* Model maker involved in building concept models for presentations as well as production-quality prototypes for trade shows and client sign-offs
