Sorenson VRS VP2

January 2017 Sorenson announces the ntouch VP2. A new Video Relay Service (VRS) for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Sorenson, provides over 80% of the VRS services in the United States, where there are an estimated 1 million functionally deaf people.

I led the electro-mechanical, mechanical design, and industrial design of the camera and set top box. I am very proud to have been a part of this project. This is the 2nd industrial design of mine used for VRS. The other design is the TelyHD from January 2012, now used by Purple VRS.
