  • Maria Buonagura

    Marketing Executive

    New York, NY

Maria has spent her 20+ year career developing & selling fashion accessories, beauty products & gifts for some of the largest retailers in the US such as JCPenney, TJMaxx, Macy's & Charming Charlie. Being pretty comfortable in the fashion world, she has also worked as a fashion stylist, a buyer and a fashion photographer's assistant at Victoria magazine. In combination with her successful sales record, she has also created publicity for companies as well as individuals. In representing an inventor with a new trendy beauty tool, she was able to market the item to teen specialty stores like Hot Topic, Delia's & Wet Seal. Editorially, the item appeared in publications such as Women's Wear Daily, Allure & Teen People as well as on Fox News. With a unique combination of creative & business skills, she has brought together individuals like a celebrity manicurist & a new nail polish line & partnered them with a retail event for Henri Bendel in New York. Currently, she is representing a new European jewelry designer who creates designs using an old 17th Century method. Maria has once served as a member of The Board of Directors for New York Fashion Cares-an organization that supports AIDS charities and as a long-time volunteer for The Fresh Air Fund and Share our Strength, a yearly charitable event to fight hunger.
