Zhong Shan Lu Athletic Center

Full Size (highres_width x highres_height)
Zhong Shan Lu Athletic Center - The project seeks to unite
two existing conditions, residential towers and traditional chinese courtyard buildings with a program common to both populations, an athletic facility.
Embracing the city’s networks of alleyways and public corridors, the athletic facility allows
public traffic to filter through its pockets of program. Large elements of the
facility are buffered by smaller spaces along the street, while the roofscape references the
mountains which surround the city.
