The Croods: Plush Animal Sketches
Back in 2009, a toy company sent me the character art for a new DreamWorks film. They had me draw some of the animal characters interpreted into plush toys. So I had to shorten the arms and tails a bit for child-safety reasons, for example. This was one of my first freelance toy design gigs. I was especially happy to get paid to draw a sloth and a monkey. Now the movie is finally out! I'm glad the sloth is still in the movie, though I always found that "Crispy Bear" a bit disturbing.
