2007 to Current: MetroHealth Medical Center Activity Center, The Art Studio: I assist the art therapist, Kimberly Gazella, MAT, in facilitating a weekly open studio afternoon session for patients on the rehab floors. This includes going from room to room encouraging patients to come to the studio to participate, transporting patients, setting up materials, explaining projects, helping patients participate to the best of their abilities so that they experience success at their endeavors. I love this work and am grateful for the opportunity to work with people in a creative and healing environment.
