Roy Lorieo

Exhibit Designer — New York, NY

About

My education at Yale led me to a life in architecture where I learned to design with deadlines for a wide variety of projects. However, I was never satisfied with the level of detail and intent that designing a building allows.

At Pratt I learned to brainstorm, sketch, make mock-ups and watch how people interact with products.

Working on travelling exhibitions at the American Museum of Natural History has given me insights into the everyday issues that are driven by object needs, donors' desires and visitor wear-and-tear.
