Industrial Design, User Experience, Surface Modeling, Animation — Madison, WI
My career in design started off at an early age; I was always sketching and building things. After discovering industrial design, I attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design from 2005-2009 and felt instantly at home. Before I graduated; I had won 3rd place an an international design competition, and had several products for sale globally. After graduating into the worst economy since the 1930s, I started my own consultancy and freelanced for many Milwaukee-based companies before landing a full-time position at Bjorksten | bit 7. Here I developed my surface modeling abilities while continuing to improve on the core skillsets of brainstorming, sketching, and rendering, but I also gained experience in other realms such as branding, user-experience, user-interface, and animation. In my freetime (which isn't much), I'm usually either doing something active outside (biking, disc golf, backpacking, skiing) or modifying anything with an engine.
Please feel free to contact me about potential work opportunities; I'm always up for another adventure!
