Furniture and Furnishings
Design development for home fragrance warmers made of ceramics, metal, glass, and various materials. Executes design decision details from colors, finish, patterns, materials, construction, and aesthetics in conjunction with branding, trends, and manufacturing requirements. Gives input in sample development and assists in vendor sourcing and coordination. Undertakes conceptualization to finished product with vendor-ready design specifications in three and two-dimensions using 3D Studio Max, Coreldraw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and hand illustrations.
Contract designer on a per project basis. Products covered: corporate premiums (for a leading consumer goods company), seasonal decorations (for a US wholesaler and manufacturer), and gifts and housewares (for a design consultancy company).

Brainchild of bamboo-based snacks and candies that won the Grand Prize in the Shanghai 2010 World Expo. Established Filbamboo Exponents, Inc. which manufactured the winning products and expanded the line to coffee, pastries, and various native delicacies for the local market.

Designer for gifts, house ware, furnishings, decorative accessories, holiday decors, fashion accessories, ceramics, basketry, toys, textile-based products, and leathergoods. Underwent training and study missions on product design, marketing, and production in the Philippines and Europe (Germany, France, and the United Kingdom). Traveled extensively around the Philippines for design-related projects and successfully assisted small and medium enterprises to become established exporters.
Completed an Advanced Training Program in Industrial Design under a scholarship grant from the Cari Duisberg Gesellschaft, e.V. in Germany. Course covered 15-months of design skills development, projects, seminars and workshops, visits to trade fairs, buyers, design studios, museums, and a 2-month practicum with two German manufacturers: Behr Moebel and Ursula Maier Werkstaetten.
