Turbine Blade Design
A group project to create an aerofoil design for a three-blade wind turbine, using a pre-defined turbine and a wind machine. We analysed the effects of drag and lift on a blade, and tested various designs before creating a set of blades with MDF ribs lined with paper, for the most lightweight design.
