Green Haven Sales Gallery is a double-height volume space with a balanced juxtaposition of human activities, natural light and finely detailed finishes. Given the opportunity to revamp the existing interior, the quality of the space is elevated with the interplay of mass and transparency. The space to serve the general public occurs on the horizontal plane on ground level. It is separated from the administrative level that is stacked horizontally above the heavy material base which forms a clear demarcation between the served and the servant spaces. Both functions are then contained in a rectilinear volume that is defined on three sides by a singular material, a full height operable venetian blind that modulate natural light and privacy. - www.0932.am
