Looking down from the top of the ladder wall. Note the blue plastic rock on left. After taking the kids horse back riding, I decided to attach a hand hold at the top of the ladder, similar to that of a saddle horn. It also adds a sense of play.
The moment of truth!
As Charles Eames said, "What details?!?" We used real peg fasteners in the construction of this. But in areas where screws were used, we covered them with wooden caps.

Lofty Goals

This bedroom has very limited floorspace (80 square feet). Exhisting IKEA bed frame was converted into hobby work table, and lower drawer was kept for clothing storage. Loft materials match old bed's asthetic, only this is built much stronger. Still easily assembled and affordable.
