How the sand molds will be assembled for the foundry
This is the 2nd piece of the 3 part sand cast mold. The 3D sand printing service didn't package it well and it was broken in shipping. They sent another that arrived intact.
After bronze pouring, the sand mold is smashed away.
The rings around the outside are custom designed gates and runners for optimal liquid metal distribution.
Client's impellor on the left and the newly cast one on the right. Client wanted to perform the final finishing on their own machines so they could balance it, so we only provided the rough casting.

Cast Bronze Impellor
Client wanted to recreate a bronze impellor for a motor. After taking measurements and building the impellor in 3D, a custom 3D printed sand mold was created for the metal casting process.
