The final product
Started with measuring all components and recreating them in 3D, then building an enclosure around them.
Enclosure was designed to be CNC machined so that the pieces could slot and fit together with only 4 screws.
Aluminum base plate, plastic spacers, threaded risers, 3D printed circuit board spacer, and the circuit board.
Side pieces simply slip into the slots cut in the base plate.
Acrylic top plate has corresponding slots to fit onto the side pieces, and has all the holes and recesses for the joystick and buttons.
A bit of wiring to do.
Designed the graphics that were 2nd surface UV printed on the top acrylic plate.
