A 1950's electric fence transformer was the perfect size and shape to house the components.
Made a 3D model of all the parts to figure out how to arrange everything inside, and which additional pieces I would need to fabricate.
You missed a lot of other steps up to this point, but here you can see the super capacitor bank wired to all the neccessary switches and connections.
Custom spacer blocks, holes, wiring, LED lamp, and a bunch of other stuff is all crammed inside.
The finished product. Red light means it's powered on and ready to go.
Additionally, the super capacitors can be charged with a hand crank.
Hand crank is stored underneath the base
Custom graphic UV printed on an aluminum plate has all the instructions for operation.

Super Capacitor Booster Pack

Another up-cycled project of mine. I used old and new parts to create an automotive battery booster pack with a 1950's aesthetic. This can be used for both 12v and 6v electrical systems, featuring Super Capacitors as a power storage medium rather than batteries.
