Bombay Sapphire Martini Glass Competition - Mingle - "Mingle" is a martini glass bowl with double walls that insulate a cool drink from warm fingers. The bowl can be set in the base when the drinker is not holding or drinking from it and serves as a coaster as well. The two-piece construction allows the unit to be broken down and compactly stored. "Mingle" allows you to do exactly that - the next time you're at a party.
Kahaluu Occasional Chair - Kahaluu is a rugged yet whimsical occasional chair. Kahaluu is like a person from the bowed legs to its welcoming broad arms and arched neck support. It's my hope that when people see this chair they will be taken as much by its personality as by the impulse to sit in it.
Selamat Design's selected Kahaluu as a top three finalist in their design a classic contest. A prototype of will be made and showcased at their Los Vegas Market show where the winner will be announced February 1, 2007.
