Here are the 9 positions of Aerial Hoop. Each canvas is 64x64 pixels and I use a similarly limited palette for each design.
This is a somewhat unfinished animation using rotoscope techniques. I picked out key frames from a video and used them to creates each frame of the animation. If I was to finish it I would want to add in more colours to create shading and also make the GIF loop because that's always more satisfying.
These are 4 positions of Pole acrobatics. They are drawn in a very similar way to the hoop pictures.

Aerial Hoop and Pole
For this personal project I was inspired by my girlfriend's hobby of doing aerial hoop and pole. I wanted to draw the poses that she was able to get into as a way of combining my talent of pixel art and her talent of being flexible.
