Exhibit Design - World War II Propaganda

This project was to take a type of design from a specific time in history and create the beginnings of an exhibit for it. My chosen subject was WWII Propaganda for which I created an entranceway meant to resemble the entrance to a bunker with harsh lighting and happy looking, identical soldiers. The entranceway was created with a curved wall to one side and a sloping roof to create a sense of claustrophobia and harshness for people entering. Similar to that of the feeling people during WWII must have had even with the juxtaposition of cheerful looking posters.

The exhibit piece is a comparison of war propaganda from USA during WWII and today. If you look at it from the front the messages seem jumbled, but if you look at it from one side and walk by it to see the other side the messages begin to meld together.
