FIELD WORK- Bioko Heirloom Project

A sustainable creative project was built with the women of Ureca on Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea. A collaborative work with the Bioko Biodiversity Protection Program (BBPP), the designs facilitated a safe environmental awareness and that combined indigenous materials of the island with traditional processes. The hand-rendered jewelry currently provides income for women, local employment for mothers, and supports the island's biodiversity efforts.
