3D model developed from single low res image (read more)

Our company acquired a business and we wanted to show how a patient-sed analyzer looked in context. I was given a low resolution single image and was challenged to build a drawing which could then me used in a Powerpoint animation. From the start, I knew that if I gave them one view as a static image rendered in Illustrator or Photoshop, we would only have that one singular view. So I downloaded a fresh version of the 3D Blender program and over the course of the weekend I developed this scene. Now I could use the camera to show any angle, and update any computer screen, or add another analyzer as needed.
