Areo for Fujitsu design contest
Fujitsu design contest - The aim was to increase user experience in the field of communication and diversify possibilities in operating control. The surface of Aereo consists of tactile moduls that move forward mechanically up to 1 cm. A hidden color plate provides color when pixel rises up. Moduls create various shapes resembling any type of control unit with feedback in just one object. This tactile surface relief can transmit human touch on distance. It can also become helpful for people with weak eyesight.
